Horizon Forbidden West

Horizon Forbidden West has gotten off to a great start on PC, with promising sales, reviews and general user feedback, and honestly, it’s a fantastic sequel to the already rather brilliant original that launched a couple of years ago. While this isn’t the biggest update ever, Nixxes Software released the 300MB patch earlier today, bringing the game up to version 1.3.55.0

One key feature of this update is that the game will now feature XeSS 1.3, which brings improvements to image quality and more quality options overall, such as Intel XeSS Native AA, which gives you improved AA quality without using the additional upscaling feature.

Dust has been improved, so that uhm, something. You can now enjoy improvements to texture streaming and improved memory usage, and there are some new text size options in the general menu too.

Unfortunately, still no AMD FSR 3.0 Frame Generation SUpport, as Nixxes are waiting for AMD to release the superior FSR 3.1 before they implement it into the game, which is a shame, as people are playing right now, and would love the scaling to be running sooner rather than later.
