thanks been needing this =D
I use UltraISO as it much easier and only takes a few clicks.
There are already guides like this on the internet.I got to know about it from here :- http://www.intowindows.com/how-to-in...working-guide/
I tried it but installation stopped after a while.![]()

I guess the best way is with WIN 7 USB Tool from M$
Personally I find it easier just to do it manually, it means you don't have to download the software if you have Vista/7 already anyway. Plus if you have already used a trial then you're stuffed. And like the official MS tool, it requires an ISO which is more work if you have the DVD itself as opposed to a download.
Not used it, but hear it's not bad. But again it requires an ISO. Sure you could make one, but why bother when it's only a few commands anyway
The guide is done in this was so it's suitable for all, no matter what programs or media you have.

You don't need an ISO to use the UltraISO method.
You might find the command line version easier to use but using a GUI is more simplistic for novice users; a few mouse clicks is easier then the amount of typing you need to do.
Downloading the app doesn't take any time at all unless you are living in the stone-age and still have dialup (can even get dialup these days still?)
I am unsure about the future implications when using a trial version of UltraISO since I have a paid version however I'll install a trial version on my other machine to see what limitations the trial version has (trial time period, ISO filesize limit, etc).
thanks for this as i might be getting a netbook from work and cant stand xp so windows 7 seems the logical choice thanks once again.
been looking for this thank you
yep, i been using this since i "discovered this early this year" round july due to reinstallation. Its fast too.
great how to. used wintoflash as the most "user friendly" than the command line, grub etc variants.
havent used m$, ultraiso methods too.
But great job for the novice!
I`ve just installed win 7 from a Kingmax 16GB USB and i must say i`m impressed: 14 minutes. Much less than installing same thing from a DVD. But still ...15 minutes? And then of course another 4 hrs to get everthing up and running and making a clone after the primary partition![]()
i am sorry to say that this method didn't work for me for consecutive 6th time.Installtion stopped after a while.![]()
Thought it was a very good Tutorial as you would say, but i dont ever think id get rid of my CD-Drives, even though i dont ever use it since i... share my games and music from online :P , There always might be that need for it! Like my copy of windows 7 for example![]()
very good read if you ask me but i agree with above i will always need a dvd drive.
I also can't do anything without my Samsung DVD-RW drive.![]()
