I was considering changing cases recently to a corsair or something bigger than my phantom, but my fan controller has a couple of slots not working, so I decided to message NZXT and just query what the problem could be and if they had any advice on how I fix it, they are sending me a brand new fan controller as a replacement free of charge.

I really didn't expect this, but this has convinced me to either buy the new Phantom 820 or wait for a bigger case, I don't think I could change my mind on NZXT now, the customer service has made me a customer for life.

I would highly recommend their cases to anyone for any job, they are fantastic and look stunning!

So if customer service is a big selling point for you, NZXT is a clear winner!

Corsair and Logitech are two companies that also have EXCELLENT cs support. Just my 2 cents...

Very good to know, I've had good experience in the past from Logitech also, with a force feedback wheel with faulty pedals, new set sent straight out no quibbles :)

Thanks for the comments! It's good to see that you're being taken care of. Rest assured, there are some other things we have planned for this year (the Hale90 V2 powersupply and Phantom 630 just launched, but we have other things coming too). So if that 820 isn't quite to your liking, we'll have other options for you. Sorry to hear that your fan controller went bad in the first place. That's never fun, but with anything man-made, things like that happen. Just glad we're resolving it for you.

Have to agree with this thread 100%. More companies should take a good look at NZXT as a rolemodel. Only other company coming close so far on customer support was Logitech for me.

Proud to own as many NZXT products as I do, and more will come in the future (next on shopping list is a Kraken) :)

Thanks dJabba. It's a lot easier for us, as a company, when our employees have experience with other hardware, are gamers, are system builders/enthusiasts themselves. We take pride in knowing that every single last one of us shares the same interests as our customers, which is why community feedback and support are vital to our success and growth and making out end users happy as well.

Things are on the upswing, our CS department is getting caught up after some major set backs last year, and we're growing and expanding in other areas like CPU coolers. I think 2013 will be a pretty sweet year :)
