Based on the costs of electricity, it is probably safe to say that PSU's will not get much bigger. And a highly efficient PSU is going to last longer (since degredation less of an issue). for the 80 plus bronze lines and up, a 3-5 year warranty is a must to even apply at all. Otherwise the standard 90 day would be more than sufficient. As components improve, I want a longer warranty (at least where i can use it, PSU/Optics/PCIEx1 and x4/sound). I usually put warranties (with reciepts) in a seperate place if they have any value and only through them out after they are void. I am glad that more companies are willing to back their products. (This is something that I will not care about after I have a job, but my computer now will have to last me til AT LEAST my residency in 4 years, if not later). also, as long as MOST people invest in dual core tech, then the longer an i7 (8 thread) or istanbul (6 thread) can last. Unless Larrabbee shakes up the computer world altogether. Then our components will have some future proofing then (out of a pure motive for catering to the masses for money) What is antec's position on expanding further, what is their next field to venture into (i.e. monitors, mouse pads, keyboard+mice....)???
