    Hi

Just saw this pricedrop on the HP N54L, so thought I'd share it (at least at DE shops). Available for 212euro +postage.

Until recently that was the cost of the N40L with only a 1.5GHz and now you get the bigger 2.2GHz CPU (both dual cores).
A cheap ram upgrade and up to 4 HDDs of your choice .. (6 with mods), FreeNAS, NAS4Free or OpenMediaVault as operating system and you're up and going for cheap with every feature you'd want. And way cheaper then the pre-build ones.

Will also post my log about mine soon (N40L though)

well, never managed to write up the log about my N40L, since it was a replacement and I was in bad need to just get it running fast. However I scored the N54L for 185 € new incl. shipping a couple nights ago and that is going to be my new web and mail server.

For a 4/6bay NAS with 2.2GHz dualcore, 2GB ECC ram and 250GB HDD included .. can't complain 'bout that :)

This time I'm in no hurry to get it up and running so I can test and take pictures/screens all the way through. Can still really recommend those little machines. They perform great for a very low price.
