Not a day goes by where I'm not blasting out some of my favourite tunes. So I'm going to post a video to an album or song every day in here, build up a fun little playlist and I encourage you all to post videos you enjoy. Don't need to go nuts and post a dozen videos a day, but would certainly be fun to get a big of a community of us music fans onto the forums.

All styles of music are welcome, no exceptions. Remember to comment with "genre", "loud volume" warnings and "NSFW" so people don't start a video they would rather avoid.

I was going to start with some crushing doom metal or something, but let's start with something on the other end of the scale :)

Recently came across the Playing For Change project - music by musicians because they love music and not to make a lot of cash.

A nice one from Devin Townsend's Ziltoid project here, a real nice ambient rock track from a mostly metal album :)

I can listen to FF music all day! Love the FFVII sound track, but XIII and X has some great rock tracks too. You heard the Black Mages band before? They do covers of it all, pretty fun stuff.

The first album I'll be listening to today. The majestic and incredible musical rollercoaster that is Camel - Mariage :)

Also thinking of doing a musical depreciation thread for sharing all the worst of the worst, anyone up for that?

What a delightfully bizarre video, no idea what he's singing about, but still couldn't stop watching :) Any context in the lyrics why he's singing in front of a urinal?

I'm not a huge power metal fan, but this band can really deliver in terms of musical ability, plus the guitar work is incredible throughout.

May seem a little heavy for some at the start, but stick with this one, it's a beautiful song from the all mighty prog rockers Opeth.

The album version is great, but there's a magic to this band that I only ever hear with their live performances. The best band you've never heard of Porcupine Tree and their 12 minutes epic Time Flies.

The album version for those who don't like live versions

Nice and mellow, I like it :) For stuff like this, I still fall back to a few old Aphex Twin albums, such as Select Ambient Works.
