good old 9800GT
Really? If I remember right. The 8800 was still faster than the 9800 series?
My nvidia geforce 220, it kicks asses after 6 years
Well, the best card (up to date still in my machine) is me trustworthy MSI GTX 560 Ti. It is the one and only GPU I ever bought in my entire life
amd radeon hd 3870
R9 270x cause its my only gpu that i have had !
As a fan of AMD video cards, or ATI at that time, I would have to say Radeon All-In-Wonder X800 XT would be my favorite because of the multi-uses and crazy Domino-Dongles it had.
It could play all my games at awesome settings but didn't overclock that much since it also had a built in NTSC TV Tuner, but I knew that going in.
That GPU's launch date was May 04, 2004 which is the same day as this very comment!
Too bad that card is long-gone, but it's not forgotten.
Happy Birthday X800 XT !
I love my MSI GeForce GTX 780 Gaming. The prettiest card in the world
Really difficult question to answer, there have been so many really great GPUs over the years.
For me the first that really opened my eyes to what a PC was really capable of was the Voodoo 2, so I guess that deserves a mention.
But for overall value, performance at the time and longevity my favourite was probably the Radeon 9800 Pro which, like my current 290X, was actually only a 9800 that you could unlock to a full Pro. Love things like that!
The 8800GTX deserves a mention too, it was a fantastic card.
some old ATi card, it was something 9550-TD256 or something like that. it was the first card I overclocked and did it hard - 105% on core and about 30% on memory mad little thing it was
my first GPU and its my favorite HD 6670
8800 without a doubt
Nvidia geforce mx440 128mb
How many games we have played together...
My first GPU card I bought voodoo banshee 16mb!
I would have to say either MSI GTX560ti Twinfrozr II/OC as it was a quiet card, very powerful and lots of headroom for overclocked.
My Chaintech 7600GT. That card lasted me for the longest time. Not the quietest, not the quickest but my first REAL graphics card (as my previous cards were a Nvidia FX5200, Nvidia MX440 or ATI 9600 PRO).
