Wanted to share my newly upgraded build featuring an all white theme using the NZXT H440 case! :D

My PC turned out very well, if I don't say so myself (hehe) I'm very OCD when it comes to colors and had to have an all white themed build when the Asus Z97 Sabertooth Mark S (limited edition) came out. Only thing I'm waiting on is the custom Nvidia claw logo LED SLI bridge that I ordered.

    Specs are;

NZXT H440 all white case with x3 NZXT 120mm fans in the front as intake & x1 Corsair AF140 quiet edition fan in the back as exhaust

Corsair H100i all in one liquid CPU cooler with x2 Corsair SP120 high performance edition PWM fans (exhaust)

Intel I7-4790K CPU overclocked at 4.5 GHz

Asus Z97 Sabertooth Mark S motherboard

    16 GB (8GB x 2) Kingston HyperX Fury DDR3 1866 white edition RAM

x2 Nvidia GTX 970 4GB Video Cards in 2 way SLI

Corsair Professional Series HX 750 watt 80+ gold PSU

Samsung 840 Series 250 GB SSD drive (Games)

Mushkin Chronos 120 GB SSD drive (Primary OS & programs)

    Hitachi 1TB 7,200 hard drive

    Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

Cooler Master CM Storm Devastator Gaming Keyboard

Cooler Master CM Storm Devastator Gaming Mouse

Roccat Sense Chrome Blue Gaming Mouse Mat

AOC Q2963PM 29" Ultra Widescreen IPS monitor (2560x1080)

GX Gaming SW-G2.1 2000 gaming speaker and subwoofer set

x4 Maxfinder triple braided / sleeved white 6 pin PCI-e cables

x1 Maxfinder triple braided / sleeved white 8 pin CPU cable

x1 Maxfinder triple braided / sleeved white 24 pin cable

x1 Bitfenix Alchemy white LED light strip (30cm - 11.8 inches)

Gelid GC Extreme CPU thermal paste

Thanks! It turned out just as I had imagined when I put everything together in my mind :)

I can say enough good things about the NZXT H440! It's the best case I've ever worked with and is real stylish. Just a great looking case.

Love how all that matches up so nicely, do you fancy painting the GPU's at least partly white?
    keep it up
oh and how good is it in Gta5?:)

P.S. keep an eye out in case they release a flashy SLI bridge that would suit too :O

Thanks BakerMan!! :) There are some Youtube videos showing how to remove the green on the GPUs and in the end you'll end up with all white LEDs. I've been thinking about it, but you void the warranty and at $389 US a piece, that's quite costly. It's certainly possible though and something I need to think long and hard about.

Haven't had a chance to play GTA5 yet, but the 2 GTX 970s should fair well. I actually have one of the custom Nvidia claw logo SLI LED bridges coming in the mail tomorrow :)

I love the look of your build. Looks freaking awesome!!
I have a question for you on the GPU's. Does your temperatures get high with them being stacked like that? I have never done SLI but have always wondered if it is a big concern.

    Thanks guys! Much appreciated! :)

Atomfix - Cable management is quite important to me and thanks for pointing that out :) Any PC can be a thing of beauty with proper cable management. I take great pride with it.

Jeff Morton - The top GPU gets to about 71c and the bottom one gets to about 69c - 70c. What's great about the reference coolers is that the heat goes straight out the back instead of inside your case. These are the 4th set of reference GPUs I've had in a system and I honestly can't see myself ever getting a non-reference GPU again. :)

I am learning more every day. Thanks for the update on your GPU, I hadn't heard about reference before.

I should also point out that the somewhat high GPU temps come from choosing the NZXT H440 case, as it's geared towards a quite type case with added soundproofing foam. Sacrifice lower GPU / CPU temps for a quieter case basically. Really though the temps are within margin, with room to spare :)

    Thanks! :)

For benchmarking I personally use a few, but there are many other smaller ones you can use too. There's 3DMark 11, 3DMark 2013 and PCMark 8 by Futuremark. There's also Heaven 4.0 and Valley 1.0 by Unigine and Catzilla 1.3 by Allbenchmark.

For a monitoring tool I use Core Temp, CPUID HWmonitor & MSI Afterburner for in game.
