Seriously need help!

    Right so today I bought a GTX 1050Ti and for some reason my pc wont detect it, all its got on graphics card is windows basic display adapter. Any help? I've tried downloading drivers but they fail to download.

    1. What was the video card you had previously?
    2. What slot did you put it in?
    3. Can we get full computer specs?
    4. What OS?
    5. Can you stick that card in another rig and check if its recompensed there?

    I fixed the issue, I was on Windows 8.1 and i upgraded to Windows 10 and went to device manager where imaging devices had an unknown device, so i installed it and it works perfectly now :)

    Windows 8.1 is/was pretty faulty which is probably why your PC didn't detect it. Good on ya that you fixed it yourself though!
