Whenever I go to close an application by right clicking on it and clicking close from the menu a random noise plays for no apparent reason. However, when I click the X in the top right hand corner of the application the noise doesn't play.

It has only recently started and I can't for the life of me remember what I did for this to start happening.

Any help on the matter would be much appreciated as a few times I'm scared myself from the noise it makes XD

I took two screenshots, one is how I close the application and the other is of the the volume when the noise occurs.
Unfortunately, the images aren't loading so I'll add the imgur link

Like a system sound noise or?
If that's the case: Open control panel -> Change system sounds

Just sounds like a system sound, look in control panel.

What did it turn out to be? Sounds weird imo, I've only discovered a sound idk about when trying to boot into safe mode and pressing F8 during boot
