Fancy bringing back THAT name. Do they not remember driver hell?
The card looks interesting, if performance figures come out right it could be the shot in the arm the market needs right now.

@shiftnplay will no doubt call me a fanboy, Storage Heaters FTW! :)

    Honestly? No.

I'm not a Fanboy in either way, as I've owned maaany different cards, but right now I don't personally see it beating a 980Ti.

    Could be wrong though!

well we shall see, personally I want to see what 2016 brings with HBM2 cards, but its exciting :)
Rumour has it that there are only 30,000 units of Fiji cards available, I find that hard to believe, we will find out in 5 days :)

I think AMD has an interesting product stack at the moment and its nice to see them having some direction again (other than TRYING to beat NVidia).

GCN - good features and (in theory) compatibility with new technologies (Vulcan, Mantle and DX12)
HBM - Being an early adopter of HBM so they will hopefully have some of the kinks worked (in the form of their drivers and package scheduling) out come HBM2 time.

waiting for 2016 to come is the hardest thing ever...
I really hope Fury is awesome and brings all kinds of greatness to AMD, but I've got that inner voice of reason telling me that next year gonna be amazing if all the Zen CPUs and HBM2 perks come true

if by some miracle Fury x2 (or whatever they call it) has Display port 1.3 and can do ace 4k, then it might be one to look at :)

    Yes and no.

Yes as innovation and competition is a great thing for all.

No because I'm not in the market for a new card so don't really care!

I can never say I'm not completely in the market for a new card, that tinkering upgrader in me might win.

Well... I WAS excited. I really hoped that AMD would throw a punch back at Nvidia, but now that the benchmarks are out, I'm pretty disappointed. I definitely like green team more, but I was hoping that AMD could bring a little more competition, but it seems the Fury X isn't nearly as good as the 980 Ti, and it costs the same amount. Not to mention the low supply. I want AMD to do well because I want Nvidia to have something to fight against! Oh well, maybe next year...

So disappointed, and would love to believe that drivers could fix it, but I have a feeling it will always trail, however.... lets see what 2016 brings.

of course, of that there is no doubt Djolovicl, it is a step forward, pricing is the same as 980Ti in the UK so its a tough sell. Fanboy notwithstanding ;) no accusing me @shiftnplay :)

Wouldn't mind seeing it as a replacement for my R9 290, but because of the price i might have to go for GTX 980. But I am still not in the market for a new card so... who knows, prices might drop in the next 6 months.

I was a fan of AMD, until Nvidia took over most games with their tech

I'll reserve my judgement until I see the results under Win 10 on DX12. And provided that AMD has working drivers at that stage o_O
