Only console worth buying are nintendo consoles, all the others have practically the same games or you can just download an emulator.

I've usually owned a console and a pc (though I've always been PlayStation > Xbox :p). They both have a place for me, I prefer console for gaming with kids/partner our when friends are over, but I'm playing myself I nearly always go for pc.

Price balances out over time (higher start up costs for PC, but console games/accessories are so much more expensive). Also get the bonus of being able to upgrade pc parts at will.

If I had to choose just one to own it would be PC every time!

I rarely use my consoles for gaming these days, great for multimedia playback though with Plex. Less and less console games have couch co-op so we have side-by-side gaming PCs at home now.

What's a console? What does a NVIDIA Shield TV come under? Technically I'd say PC :D

I they complete themselves, PC has it's pros as well as console do. In my opinion if you have monetary stability you should have both.

For me pc main pros are upgradable and cheaper games, while console win for the exclusive games like infamous which I love.

PC can be used for so much more stuff than consoles & as far as performance goes it's far superior (ofc it depends on your budget). You have to get involved though. Not as "plug n play" as consoles but kinda EZ nowadays. PC free games are a big PLUS also.

If you asked me 10 years ago I might have said Console because PC just wasn't ready yet. But today, PC wins this question bar none. A PC can do everything a console can do, not only better, but it can do MORE. Not only that, but with today's flat panel tv's, you can hook your PC up to them via multiple interfaces, HDMI, DVI, RGB... then you have a 50"+ PC in your living room, doing everything you could dream of doing and your old console will be a bookend in no time. :)

Honestly, I actually don't mind playing both. It's nice to be able to use both! Honestly, since the console is a bit more stationary and you'd probably use a bigger tv for it, like I do, you can use the console for video viewing purposes and movies. Viewing experiences are better on a bigger screen. And PC gaming is preferable on a 18-27"

I think PC for playing alone, Consoles for playing with family and friend. Both of it is fun, so if you have a lot of money then choice both of it...

As you can see nobody is a diehard console fan as it's 0%.. PC is the way of living
